As DACA entrepreneurs, Norma and Eloy have transformed determination, technical expertise, and perseverance into a thriving industrial automation company. Their journey demonstrates that resilience and innovation can create opportunities not only for themselves, but for future generations.
Over the past year, MEEA Automation has reached several exciting milestones, including expanding into a dedicated shop space next to their first commercial office and adding a new company vehicle to support their growing engineering team.
Looking back, the accomplishment they are most proud of is having the courage to start their business. Instead of allowing the fear of failure to hold them back, they chose to believe in their vision and build something meaningful.
Eloy’s journey also highlights the value of accessible education. He took courses at his local community college to strengthen his technical skills and advance his career, helping build the foundation for what would eventually become MEEA Automation.
Looking ahead, they are excited to continue growing MEEA Automation while opening even more doors for the next generation of engineers.
